Long Journey to Rneadal is an action adventure in space begins onboard the RELENTLESS—a star cruiser captained by the dashing Jake Granger. While life patrolling in space can be boring, everything changes dramatically with an encounter with a female space pirate. Dr. Jessica L. Hunter, a wealthy and telepathic genius, who reluctantly joins his crew to create new systems for his ship. Jake is fascinated by Jessi’s abilities during several critical assignments, but she is standoffish to his advances. Jessi later learns the truth about herself while on a rescue mission, which causes Jake to have a more difficult time trying to convincing her of his love. When the RELENTLESS is placed into space dock, Jake again asks Jessi to marry him and is elated when she accepts his marriage proposal. After their lavish wedding and honeymoon, Jessi is required to renegotiate another peace treaty with the Tricanorians. This negotiation takes a turn for the dramatic, but ends amicably. Ultimately, the time arrives when Jessi must make the perilous journey to Rneadal as instructed by her biological father. Although pregnant, Jessi travels to Rneadal and risks her life and her unborn child to rescue the Rtuii.
